تمثل الشقق للإجازة (“holiday apartments”) حلا جيدا ورخيصا. وأسعارها متشابهة مع أسعار فنادق نجمتين أو 3 نجوم. ويعتبر نوعا جديدا من الفنادق ويفضل عدد كبير من السياح هذا النوع على الفنادق العادية. تفضل العائلات معها الأطفال أو مجموعات كبيرة من الأشخاص الإقامة في الشقق. في بعض الشقق يجوز إقامة 12 شخصا ولذلك تفضلها المجموعات الكبيرة التي تريد الإقامة “تحت سقف واحد”. توجد في الشقق مطبخ تستطيع أن تطبخ فيه بنفسك وثلاجة وتيليفزيون وحتى وصلة الانترنت. ولا تقدم أغلبها خدمة مكتب الاستقبال أو الخدمة في الغرف. ولكن من الناحية الأخرى سوف تستمتع براحتك. ولكن في أغلب الحالات يجب عليك أن تتسلم المفتاح من المكتب قبل وصولك وتسجل نفسك وبعد ذلك تسلم المفتاح قبل سفرك.
