Accommodation listing in Prague – hotels, hostels, apartments and camps.

Cost Effective Accommodation

Category Camps, Hostels

Unfortunately, central Prague’s accommodation isn’t any more the cheap price that tourists boasted about a decade ago. Fortunately though, Prague’s trusted and efficient public transport makes virtually any remote area a simple journey to the city centre.

Pensions

Category Hostels

Boarding houses, or bed and breakfasts (B&Bs), have smaller capacity than hotels, don’t usually have restaurants i.e. and generally there is no 24hr reception. We also categorize pensions and guest houses under B&Bs, as in Prague there is very little difference between them except that some of them do not provide breakfast.

Hostels

Category Hostels

There are two types of hostel in Prague: seasonal ones that open only during the summer or the ones that open all year round. There is not much difference between them as both cater for budget travellers. Several hostels operate curfews, therefore it is worth examining this before you book. It is rarely required to bring your own sleeping bag as almost all hostels are likely to supply bedsheets and blankets free of charge.

Transport from the Airport

Category Hostels, Hotels

If you are planning to visit Prague make sure your stay gets off to a pleasant start by using Prague Airport Transfers to get you into the city. If you have been studying the guide books and Prague internet resources before your visit you will be aware that Prague taxi drivers have a very poor reputation for overcharging. This particularly applies to tourists and foreign visitors. Hence the recommendation to use the reliable and honest Prague Airport Transfers.
